Community Engagement
We would be nothing without our community. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, and educate our local area through arts, entertainment, and actively engaging one another through community partnerships and participation.
Project R.O.O.T. (Realizing Our Own Talents) is a program created to encourage both youth and adults to discover their gifts and to celebrate these new findings with their community. Through interactive writing workshops, restorative conversations, and engaging experiences, participants are empowered to establish
(or root) themselves and activate their full potential.
Xpressions
Xpressions is our free public initative offering creative writing workshops to members of our community. Utilizing the same SEL principles within Project ROOT, we also focus on artistic development. Through monthly workshops that focus on creative writing and methods of expression, we have created a well-rounded community of writers and performers, come join us!

Xpressions
Retreat
Xpressions is a multifaceted yearly retreat tailor-fitted for writers and spoken-word artists seeking to dive deepr into their craft. Whethere you're a seasoned wordsmith or new to the world of performance, this retreat is designed to spark your individual craft and fueld your creative journey. Through a dynamic blend of interactive sessions, collaborative projects, and insightful discussions, participants have the opportunity to expand their horizons, hone their skills, and forge meaningful connections with other literary artists. By the end of our three day journey, participants end our time together with a collaborative, public reading and performance for the community of Cleveland to enjoy.
