The Writer's Block:
A Mashup of Poetry and Short Films
Together, Shape Cleveland and The Sparrow’s Fortune came together to create a cross-cultural event, the Writer’s Block: A Mashup of Poetry and Short-Film. This event aims to raise funds for our impactful educational programming and further our reach within both of our communities. The Writer’s Block is an event established to expand exposure between two art forms that are often unlikely to share space. While both poetry and filmmaking require creativity in writing, we rarely see the two mediums paired together.
